Children exposed to air pollution

Hundreds of children in Sheffield are being exposed to illegal levels of air pollution from diesel vehicles, according to Greenpeace.

Children attending 18 nurseries, schools, further education centres and after-school clubs across the city are within 150 metres of roads where the level of nitrogen dioxide from diesel traffic exceeds the legal limit.
